This unique Botswana safari from Maun to Chobe with stops in the Moremi Game Reserve, Khwai Community Reserve, Savuti and Chobe National Park is an amazing way to explore the beauty of Botswana. During the green season, from December to April, you will be able to explore the region in its most magnificent state.
This Maun to Chobe safari starts with a visit to Kazinkini Community Reserve — an excellent place to watch animals around the river.
Then it’s onto one of Botswana's best kept secrets, Kwhai, a community trust area that abounds with some of the country’s most abundant sightings of lions, African wild dogs, leopards, and hyenas. Next on the agenda is Savuti, where the Savuti Channel attracts herds of elephants, lions, zebras, hyenas, and cheetahs. The whole region is known for its annual migration of zebras and, of course, the predators that follow them.
Next, it’s onto this safari’s last stop, Chobe National Park — Botswana’s third largest national park, famous for its riverfront vistas and huge elephant herds. Here we will do a sunset boat cruise to enjoy the park from the water, really nice experience and a good way to end a safari.
